Ah yes, there was a time – before all this crap started that I used to go wheelin’ every weekend I could.

I have a ’99 Sahara with a 4 inch lift and 33′s. Certainly not a hard core crawler trail killer but it serves my purpose; which is to get as far away from humanity as possible sometimes to find that perfect fishing hole, or camping spot, or just a place to soak in some awesome Colorado.

I haven’t been doing the roll yourself over tumble down a hill type wheelin’ but some fun trail runs, exploring and just getting the hell out “THERE” jeepin’. For those of you not from Colorado you might enjoy the scenery of this clip. For friends and family back east, if you ever wonder why I decided to move and live in Colorado. THIS is why. And as always, if I’m up to it health wise, and not fixing the rig you are all more than welcomed to go out for a run with me, just post here and say so.

*Update July 9th, 2009: This is one of the last times I had the jeep out. Because of the level of medication I’ve been on, and the chronic pain in both my hip and left knee it’s been difficult to drive what so ever and probably illegal due to the drugs. When and if I ever get off the junk I’m on and they fix my aching bones and joints I plan to celebrate by taking a nice long trail run.
